Indians Finish Below the .500 Mark, Lose to Lawrence 38-0

Your Hartford Indian Varsity Football team lost for the fifth straight game at home on Friday night to the Lawrence Tigers by a score of 38-0. The Tigers defeated the Indians for the first time since 1990, a span of 12 Indian victories in a row. The Tigers jumped out to a 16-0 first quarter lead and a 31-0 halftime lead. The Indians could not get the offense going all night and after the Tigers scored late in the third quarter, the clock was running the remainder of the night. The Indians finish the campaign with a 4-5 record and an 0-5 record and a last place finish in the conference divisional race.
