November 25, 2009 Punter Shane Sullivan Wins 1st Team All-State
 
Hartford senior punter Shane Sullivan, who averaged nearly 44 yards per punt this season, was honored for his efforts by the Associated Press, as he was named first-team all-state punter in Division 7.

The coaching staff of the Hartford Indians hosted its annual awards night in the Hartford High School Cafeteria, as MVP, MIP, All-Conference and All-State honors were handed out.
 
October 23, 2009 Varsity Ends Season with 38-0 Loss to Lawrence
 
After twelve attempts and almost 20 years, the Lawrence Tigers came into Indian Stadium and defeated the Hartford Indian Varsity Football team by a 38-0 score, sending the Indians to a losing season for the first time since 2004.

The Hartford Indian Varsity Football team continued to roll through their schedule with a week two win over Martin. Possessing a 49-0 lead after one and 56-0 at half, the Indians rolled up nearly 300 yards in offense in the 56-0 victory.

The Varsity Indians opened their season Friday night in the lights of Indian Stadium with a crowd of 600 or so hardcore fans sitting out in the cold and occasional mist. They got to see a show from the Indians, however, as they massed an outstanding 352 yards on the ground and cruised to a 42-6 win.
