Middle School Teams End Seasons Mixed

   This year saw the Varsity end 8-2, the Junior Varsity 2-6 and the Middle School teams end 0-3 and 2-3-1, respectfully.
   Although the Middle School seasons weren't as impressive as it may seem, the teams learned the basics of what it takes to be a good football player when they get to the High School level.
   The seventh grade only played three games, due to some scheduling conflicts and some teams not having a seventh grade football team. The Indians may have finished 0-3, but the scores tell the story. The Indians were only 16 points from a 3-0 season, but lost them all. However, it wasn't because lack of players, as the Indians ended the season with over 20 players. It was just one bad break after another that cost the team points.
   The eighth graders came out of the 2007 season with a 2-3-1 mark, led by wins over Lawrence and Marcellus. This team is definitely capable of improving the 2-6 mark the Junior Varsity team had this year, as long as they continue working hard in the off season. The wins they had, they put up 54 points, so that is a big plus.
   The head coaches for this years teams were Abel Robles (seventh grade) and Travis Vagts (eighth grade). They were assisted by Josh Bridges and Terry Pike. Good season Middle School teams!
